MINISTRIES

Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, His disciples, to make disciples of all nations. Our mission is to the community outside of our church walls and to the world.

Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from washing the church vehicles, to preparing the church bulletins. We focus on different projects local or around the world each year.

Mission Outreach

Harbor Light Church is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in sending missionaries and supporting these missionaries with our prayers and financial support. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community.

Music

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members, young and old get involved in our music. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Don’t be surprised to see young kids running the powerpoint, playing the drums or singing with the adults leading worship!

These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

 Family Ministry

We believe in ministry to the family at every stage of life. We minister to a diverse age group. Our children,  youth and adult ministries provide the opportunities to build relationships with God and one another.

Prayer Warriors
Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is dependent upon prayer and committed to God’s sovereignty.
Each Sunday, during the morning service, a team of volunteers is praying for the ministry of the Word.
Throughout the week, volunteers pray for the pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. Each Wednesday, the church comes together for a special time of prayer and Bible study. We have a special Friday night prayer meeting where some of the congregation comes to pray for the needs of the people, the community and the church.
